Christina Manter - Chair

I love being part of the Helping Hands Outreach Ministries Board because it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of men who are experiencing homelessness and hardship. I’m passionate about helping HHOM grow, strengthen its outreach, and create lasting opportunities for individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Guy Torgersen, LADC - Vice Chair

I enjoy serving on the Board of Helping Hands because I worked there for six years, growing from a case manager and recovery coach to an LADC clinician, and the organization continues to hold a special place in my heart. I value seeing the men overcome homelessness, substance use, mental health challenges, and incarceration, and I am grateful to work alongside others who share a passion for helping people rebuild their lives, including Veterans who have served our country and deserve a safe place to call home.

Dana Teufel - Treasurer

Rev. Malcolm Widness - Secretary

Malcolm recently retired after 15 years as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Derry. In 2015, he became involved in addressing the impact of the opioid crisis and helped establish The Lighthouse in Derry, a support group for families affected by addiction. He supports the mission and leadership of Helping Hands Outreach Ministries. Prior to ministry, Malcolm worked in software and IT recruiting and executive search. He lives in Manchester near his two children and four grandchildren.

Chip Sutton

I believe deeply in the mission and ministry of Helping Hands and value the opportunity to contribute to the oversight and direction provided by the Board. I bring a background in pastoral ministry that I believe can provide meaningful perspective and support as the organization continues to serve those in need.

Giselle Wallace

Serving on the board provides a meaningful opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of people they might not otherwise have the chance to impact. I also enjoy reading, working outdoors, learning new skills and attending church at Grace Capital.
